Thanks for your interest in the Blades! We are always interested in hearing from great Alliance players on Sentinels. If you'd like to join us, here's what you need to do:

1.) Read all of the links under "Guild Policies" first. Those are da rules and ya gotta agrees to them.

2.) Right now, we have a level cap in place. You need to either be above level 60 or get someone in the guild to sponsor you. You must also be 18 years or older to join.

3.) If you want to know more about us before joining, register for this site and then send the guild leaders (Cynnassa or Axeburn/Acevedo) a private message, or just whisper a Guild Leader or an officer (Hixon, Fool, Merglan, Brienne) in game.

4.) If you're OK with everything, click on the "Online Application" link on the left side of this page. Fill out the questionnaire truthfully and click submit. We will get back to you just as soon as we get out of whatever instance or raid we happen to be in at the time.


Our wish is to provide a fun, mature environment of quality people playing towards common goals. We won't be raiding every day or forcing members to play certain builds, but make no mistake--we're a raiding guild focusing on advancement through end-game material. If that is in line with your wishes, drop us a line!

Hello all would-be applicants or just generally curious surfers!

While we are an end-game raiding guild and are making successful and frequent forays into Ulduar 10 and 25, we will not now or ever place a demand on the epic drops above the thrill of downing a boss or the supportive and fun guild environment we so cherish.

What that means to you, as a potential applicant, is to ask yourself, "What is my goal?" If your goal is toward hard-core raiding, rapid end-game advances, playing only with elite players, etc., then you should probably look elsewhere. There are guilds on this server that will better align with your desires.

We treasure the fun and friendly culture we've developed over the past three years. We're supportive, we refrain from drama, and we typically strive to treat all events fairly. Our motto is "Do the Right Thing." We are a guild of unique people from many parts of the world and at many stages of our lives. Raids and instances are often paused so that diapers can be changed, goodnight stories read, a meal served, or because Matlock is on (for the older members). This also means we're a bit less intense toward raiding and proceed at a slightly slower pace than some other guilds. We will not force talent builds, require a certain amount of raiding, or show intolerance to inexperienced players.

Because of where we place our values, when we look at an applicant we aren't looking for an uber <insert class> and you don't need to brag up your mad skillz. We seek awesome people who are mature, friendly, and have a sense of humor. To protect this environment, we do ask that members be 18 or older and display the maturity for which we've built this guideline.

We also tend to be high level (most of us have multiple 80s), though we have a few alts progressing through lower levels. If you are a lower level, please realize it may be tough to find a group in guild. While you can generally find someone to run you through an instance, you probably won't have anyone to group with for general questing. There are guilds on the server who may serve your needs better in that regard.

If this sounds as if it is truly in line with your goals and play philosophy, and not just because of what you've heard about BoL's raid successes, then by all means, fill out an application to join the BoL family.
