.) Interested applicants should fill out the Online Application found on the guild website. As part of the application process, applicants must acknowledge that they have read all of the guild policies (listed on the guild website) and will abide by them.
.) All applicants will be contacted by a designated guild member, usually within 24 hours of applying. If the officer corps approves, the applicant will be invited into the guild on a probationary basis as an Initiate. The probation period typically lasts two weeks. (Officers review promotions on the 1st and 15th of each month, so it could be slightly longer.) During the probationary period, Initiates who do not follow guild policies may be removed from the guild without warning. If officers have doubts as to whether initiates will fit in in the long term, the initiate period may be extended.
.) Blades of Light does not consider a player's class build or talent spec when deciding to invite people to the guild. We are looking for great
people for our guild, not mindlessly leveled drones.
.) There is currently a level cap in place. Applicants must be Level 20 or higher in order to be invited into the guild. The guild leader may make exceptions to this level cap on a case-by-case basis. Lower level characters should understand that most of our members are at maximum level; while we will provide advice and such, we may not be able to give lower level characters the constant support they may wish. As long as this is understood, we are happy to welcome anyone over Level 20.
.) There is currently an age cap in place. Applicants must be 17 years old or older in order to be invited into the guild. The Guild Leader may make exceptions to this level cap on a case-by-case basis.
.) Only people that have filled out the online application thoroughly and answered any follow-up questions satisfactorily will be invited.
